Crashes when hovering over Spotify in the dock

I really want to love Hyperdock, because it brings some amazing features to Mac.
Unfortunately whenever I hover over Spotify it crashes, which is very frustrating, since all window actions stop. I’ve followed up with the developer, and will update my review once I hear more.
